What preceded the attack on Yelenovka prison on 29/7/2022

This video was published on Telegram on July 28.

In it, Azov member Dmytro Kozatskyi (you may have seen some of his photos), who is being interviewed in Yelenovka prison, claims at 0:40 that Oleksiy Arestovich, advisor to President Zelensky and avowed admirer of ISIS, had requested before Feb 24 that video of Russian POWs being violently killed should appear online. Arestovich later requested they disappear, when they didn't have the desired effect on Russian or international opinion (3:02).

Within 24 hours of the publication of the Kozatskyi video, the prison was hit by missiles fired from the much-hyped HIMARS launcher - which could only have been done with US assistance - leaving 53 Ukrainian POWs dead and 70+ injured, and delaying the release of any more such embarrassing revelations.

Arestovich himself, of course, was quick to blame Russia for the attack. This conflict, going as far back as 2014, makes much more sense if you understand it as a proxy war being fought against both the Russian military and the people of Ukraine by Washington, using Ukrainians as utterly expendable pawns about whom they could not care less, up to and including Messrs Zelensky and Arestovich.

Mainstream news sources were awash with reports of Ukrainian claims that Russia had attacked its own prison for... some reason... for a few days. Now most of those articles seem to have disappeared, but they had the desired effect. This article is still up.

** Update 18.1.2023 **

Oleksiy Arestovich resigned on 17.1.2023, over remarks he made in the aftermath of the missile that hit a residential building in Dnipro/Dnepropetrovsk on 14.1.2023, killing at least 25 people. Western media reported it as a Russian strike targeting a civilian target, but the following day Arestovich said on TV that the missile had been intercepted and fell on the block of flats, detonating on impact.

After this disclosure, users on Telegram drew attention to the fact that he has a page on Myrotvorets, the Ukrainian hit-list of enemies of the state (many of whom have been killed), but confusingly, his page was created in January 2022, and lists 'crimes' dating back to 2005. One wonders whether some people might have considered him an enemy of the state from 2022, or whether the page was created in readiness for his fall from grace, and only set live now. Mind you, he has said this in the past:
